Product Details

This is a remarkable classical vinyl LP record featuring Mozart's Four Horn Concertos. Conducted by Sir Neville Marriner, with Alan Civil on the horn and The Academy Of St. Martin - in - the - Fields as the orchestra. Released in 1972 by Philips in the Netherlands, it has the label number 6500 325. The format is vinyl, LP, and stereo. The album includes various movements of the horn concertos such as Allegro, Rondo, Romanza, etc. Each piece has its own unique charm and duration. The cover resembles the 1972 UK releases, but the labels show full overlapping circles and 'Made in Holland', likely a Dutch press for the US import market. There is also a price code 'LY' on the back sleeve above the catalog number.

To use this vinyl record, first make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Place the record gently on the turntable, center it, and then lower the tonearm carefully onto the starting groove. Adjust the volume on your amplifier to a comfortable level. When handling the record, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. After use, store the record in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If the record gets dirty, you can use a vinyl record cleaning brush to gently remove dust. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the record.
