The album features great tracks like 'Like Someone In Love' (8:00), 'Johnny's Blue' written by Lee Morgan (9:10), 'Noise In The Attic' written by Wayne Shorter (7:55), 'Sleeping Dancer Sleep On' and 'Giantis' both written by Shorter*. It was recorded and the lacquer was cut at Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and published by Blue Horizon Music. The pressing was done by All Disc Records, Inc. The musicians include Jymie Merritt on bass, Art Blakey on drums, Bobby Timmons on piano, Wayne Shorter on tenor saxophone, and Lee Morgan on trumpet. The 1st original stereo pressing has blue and white 'Blue Note Records, Inc.' - 'New York USA' labels, Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax on both sides, a Liberty Records logo on the cover, the address 43 West 61st St., New York, N. Using this vinyl record is easy. First, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable and use the tonearm to lower the needle onto the start of the track you want to play. To get the best sound quality, keep the turntable on a stable surface. When it comes to maintenance, always handle the record by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. After each use, store the record in its sleeve to protect it from dust. Clean the record occasionally with a vinyl record cleaning solution and a soft brush. If you notice any dust or debris on the needle, use a needle brush to clean it carefully. Also, make sure to store the record in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. Enjoy this classic jazz album and its amazing hard bop tunes!
