Buffalo Tom's self - titled album is a classic of alternative and indie rock. Released in June 1989 in the US by SST Records (label number SST 250), it comes in a vinyl LP album format. The album features a great collection of tracks like 'Sunflower Suit' (4:09), 'The Plank' (3:34), and many others. The album was recorded at Fort Apache in 1988 and mastered at K Disc Mastering and Greg Lee Processing. It was pressed by Rainbo Records. The artwork on the cover is by Bob Hamilton (3) and Jason Talerman, and the back photo is by Jason Talerman. Key members of the band include Chris Colbourn on bass, guitar, and vocals, Tom Maginnis on drums and percussion, and Bill Janovitz on vocals, guitar, and piano.
