Product Details

General Surgery - Necrology is a classic 7' EP record released in 1991 by Relapse Records (RR - 006) in the US. It belongs to the Relapse Singles Series 006. The vinyl is in a vibrant red color, spinning at 33 ⅓ RPM. The music falls into the rock genre, specifically with grindcore and death - metal styles. The tracklist includes great songs like 'Ominous Lamentation', 'Slithering Maceration Of Ulcerous Facial Tissue', and more. It was recorded at Sunlight Studios. The original release comes with a folded A4 lyric sheet. Distributed in Europe by Nuclear Blast, in Japan by MCR Company, and in the USA by Important Record Distributors, Inc. Note that track A1 is wrongly spelled 'Omnious Lametation' on the label. The vinyl has etched matrix/runout on both sides: 'RR - 006 - A HELLO GRANI, YOU SEXY HUNK' on Side A and 'RR006 - B G.T.G.P. = RELAPSE' on Side B.

Using this vinyl record is easy. Just place it on a compatible turntable at 33 ⅓ RPM and let the music play. When handling the record, make sure your hands are clean to avoid leaving fingerprints or dirt on the surface. Always use a proper record brush to clean it regularly. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. When not in use, keep it in its protective sleeve to avoid scratches. Be careful when inserting and removing the folded A4 lyric sheet to prevent tearing. And remember, since the track A1 is misspelled on the label, it might be a fun fact to share with your friends!
