Product Details

Joshua Abrams' Cloud Script is a remarkable vinyl LP album released in December 2020 by Rogueart (ROG - 0100) from France. It features a stereo sound and comes in a gatefold format. The album combines different jazz styles, including avant - garde jazz, free jazz, and contemporary jazz. The tracklist includes 'In Place of Memory' (9:10), 'Harbor' (5:02), 'Echo Tracer' (8:56), 'Duke Hill' (5:48), 'Collapsing Novelty' (9:29), and 'Coniunctio' (7:20). It was pressed and the lacquer was cut by Optimal Media GmbH. The cover was realized by David Bourguignon (2) and designed by Max Schoendorff. Joshua Abrams plays the double bass and composed all the pieces. Other musicians include Gerald Cleaver on drums, Jeff Parker on guitar, and Ari Brown on tenor saxophone. It was recorded on September 26th, 2016, at Electrical Audio in Chicago, IL, USA, and mastered at L’autre Studio in Vaires - sur Marne. The barcode is 3760131271003, with specific matrix/runout details for each side.

Using this vinyl record is easy. Just place it on a compatible turntable, gently drop the needle on the start of the groove, and enjoy the rich jazz sounds. When handling the record, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface, as this can affect the sound quality. Store the record in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat, which can warp the vinyl. Also, keep it upright to prevent bending. After each use, it's a good idea to use a soft, anti - static record brush to clean the grooves and remove any dust or debris. This will help maintain the sound quality and prolong the life of your record.
