Product Details

Morton Subotnick's 'The Wild Bull' is a remarkable 1968 vinyl LP from Nonesuch Records in the US. It features electronic music with experimental, ambient, modern classical, avant - garde, minimal, and abstract styles. The LP comes in stereo and is a pressed variant by Allentown Record Co. Inc., indicated by 'AL' etched in runouts. The label typesetting layout differs from similar versions, and'stereo' is printed on both sides of the center hole. The composition was made on a modular electronic music system originally built by Donald Buchla for Subotnick at the San Francisco Tape Music Center. Side A's 'The Wild Bull (Part I)' is 13:00 long, and Side B's 'The Wild Bull (Part II)' is 14:50 long. The record has notable art direction by William S. Harvey, cover art by Bob Pepper, and liner notes by Subotnick himself.

Using this vinyl LP is easy. Just place it on your turntable, carefully lower the needle onto the start of the groove, and enjoy the music. When handling the record, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface, as this can cause noise during playback. After each use, gently clean the record with a record - cleaning brush to remove dust. Store the LP in a cool, dry place, and keep it in its sleeve to protect it from scratches and dust. Make sure your turntable is properly calibrated for the best sound quality. If you notice any skipping or unusual noise, check the needle for wear and the record for damage.
