Product Details

Janis Joplin's album 'Pearl' is a timeless classic. Released in January 1971 in the US by Columbia (label: KC 30322), it's a stereo vinyl LP album pressed in Terre Haute. The music combines blues rock, soul, and vocal styles. Tracks include 'Move Over' written by J. Joplin, 'Cry Baby' by B. Berns and J. Ragovoy, and many more. The album was mastered at Customatrix, pressed by Columbia Records Pressing Plant in Terre Haute, and produced by Paul A. Rothchild. Janis Joplin's powerful vocals are supported by a great backing band, Full Tilt Boogie. The playback has light crackles and pops but plays much better than it looks.

To play this vinyl record, first make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition. Gently place the record on the turntable and use the tonearm to lower the needle onto the starting groove. Enjoy the music! When handling the record, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. After each use, store the record in its sleeve to protect it from dust and scratches. If you notice any dirt on the record, you can use a vinyl record cleaning brush to gently remove it. Keep the record in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat to prevent warping.
